Wedding part 2 on Friday! 😍🙌✨

This time 16 years ago, my gorgeous, miracle baby came into this world, early but perfect! 👶 🌍 🩵

After being told that with my arthritis I would never have children and that if I tried to carry a baby, the best outcome would be that I’d end up in a wheelchair….if I’m lucky! 🥲

This journey had its dark times, challenges, excruciating pain and without the help of the love I felt growing in my heart and stomach, I would have given up…..Love fuels us in our dark days! 💖✨🖤

Today my beautiful boy turns 16 and gets his GCSE results.

Each and every day I feel so lucky and privileged to have him here to brighten my life, share in my mischief and be one of my biggest driving forces, my mini me (at nearly 6ft tall) 😂🥳

Today is a celebration of those people in your life that you can’t live without, who is your person?

Remind them of just how much they mean to you, as life is precious ⭐️⭐️⭐️

What is the key to life?…I know, bold question-is there really an answer? 🧐👀🙋‍♀️✨

Love, nurturing and healing really does make the world go round 💖✨💥

As an educator, I truly loved my students and the subjects I taught and not only did they know it, but I made sure that they felt it too! 🥰

Educating from the mind AND heart is so important. 🧠💖

Educating is about creating community, closely linked to environment as it creates a safe, nurturing space to express yourself, take risks, build resilience and grow. 🌱💚

This meant that no one was ever left behind, each student achieved above and beyond expectation.

I still love when they call or message me with their latest achievements…it feeds my soul, even though some are now in their 20’s or 30’s!…jeeez I feel old! 😂💛✨

Education and learning still underpins everything that I do and creating nurturing environments whatever sector they’re used within keeps me forging forward.

When I’m not taking super exciting toilet selfies, what does an environmental psychologist and designer actually do? 🧠🧐✨🤯

Complex question as it’s multifaceted buuuuuut, 80% of how you think, feel and behave within an environment comes from your subconcious mind 👀 🕰️🧠

So basically ‘I deal in the feels’!

I use the theory of,

💚Psychology,
💛Neurology,
🩵Biology (and genetics)
🩷Behavioural science,
🧡Behavioural evolutionary theory,
💙Sociology……

To holistically design Psychologically and Trauma influenced environments, scaffolded by the underpinning theory to ensure that the space ‘feels’ right.

After all,

💥You buy a house because it ‘feels’ right,
💥You open up to a counsellor because you ‘feel’ safe,
💥You stay in a job and work hard because you ‘feel’ appreciated.

I also do workshops to help others understand what we need in our environments to improve behaviours, create a ‘healthy’ interior, filled with love and community to foster growth 💚🌱

What a whirlwind the past few weeks has been!✨💖🙌

I don’t even know where to start with this one and it takes A LOT to make me speechless 😂….so my condensed version includes-


🧡Attended Wilmslow and alderley edge networking lunch,
🩷Completed a hand over on a new office scheme,
❤️Working on shared areas of another,
🩵Painted and delivered some bespoke artwork, inspired by my aura Synesthesia to a client,
💛Taught a neurodivergent design talk and day workshop with the creative team at Overbury
💜Have two new clients on my waiting list, love that we’ve connected enough for them to wait for my skills,
💚Booked for two keynotes and a design workshop between now and October.
🩷The work with Warrington Youth Zone on their healthy minds room is well underway and looking great…. Thanks for your support!!! 🙏


🩵Created an Impact Evaluation Report to show the amazing results we get with our Elementors, working with children & young people….its a fantastic read,
🧡Embedding well as Ops director & building relationships with the team,
💙Interviewing new Elementors & building their training plan,
🩷Confirmation that our bid to work with was successful and we’re now on their 4 year framework,
💛Taken on new contracts with Walsall, Telford & Wrekin virtual schools,
💚Attended several virtual school and Academy conferences with
🩵In negotiations with authorities across Greater Manchester, Bury, Tameside and Warrington,
❤️Planning an epic creative arts community project to launch in the next few months,
💜Putting together a new peer mentoring programme….so it’s all go!!!

❤️Also managed to fit in a lil toilet selfie at Middlesbrough football stadium (I found the posh loos 🤨😂).
🧡Attended one of my friend’s wedding.
💛Plus The killers & Travis convert @ The AO arena…..think they should have hired an Environmental Psychologist…doh! 😳🙈

Phew and today is going to be an amazing end to the week Glitterball…..can’t blinking wait! 🪩💖💥

Loads of fun, dancing and money raised for an amazing cause plus a lil toilet selfie made it into the cut! 😂👑🚽📸

Also great to see the @ real5 networking Manchester and Knutsford out in force!

The amount of clients that tell me they don’t like coming home after work and have no idea why…..It’s that reason that I ‘deal in the feels’ and making somewhere feel nurturing and homely is so important after a long day at work.
