Kitchen LVT Supplied & Fitted

Firstly we carried out repairs to the sub floor, patching up existing floor boards that had been removed. We then laid 5.5mm Sp101 This is a rigid core plywood used for sub floor preparation. Standard ply wood is not suitable.
Once laid we then nailed the ply wood down around the perimeter by 100mm and centres 150mm to ensure it meets British standards. Then we sealed / feathered all the edges and seams.
You don’t see this process at then end result but this part is the most important, otherwise over time your flooring will fail.

Then we was ready to lay our bleached larch lvt, we also used pressure sensitive adhesive to glue down flooring . Once complete we assembled the kitchen back to how we found it. It was a hell of a job with some obstacles in the way but we got the job done and the customer was happy with the finish.
