First of 2 rooms completed for a return client. Id previously decorated this room several years ago but shes had a water leak so there was some major damage to the walls and ceiling which needed to be fixed. After that was done it was a complete colour change to the room. I do like doing these 2 tone effects as you have to cut in by hand, you can't use tape as it will damage the paint underneath, so you realy do need a steady hand to get it looking perfect.
Next room will be posted tomorrow as it was painted and then I found out I'd been given the wrong colour paint to paint it with so it's all had to be redone

Job for a new client, although small space it was so hard to do this job because its such a tight space, and the steps down with no banister meant I was constantly in danger of falling. Anyway, walls stripped and then the foil lining treated with zinsser and the walls filled and sanded smooth ready for lining paper to go up. Once the lining paper was applied it was all fillex and sanded to remove any joins then the top and bottom edges caulked to make it seamless. Finally woodwork filled and sanded, primed and then all painted in its respective colours

So getting ready for another new job. This will be fully stipped and sanded then filled and sanded, even though lining paper is going on; and that's because some areas of plaster have blown so they need to be scraped out and primed to ensure wall stability before any further work is done. Also, just because lining paper is going up doesn't mean the walls shouldn't be as close to perfect as possible: the smoother the walls before the more the walls after will just look like walls. The effect is to look like lining paper was never applied, that it is just the walls you are looking at

Little job for today, painting a feature wall. This is a new build and has cracks running down either side of the wall as I couldn't realy fill as I wasn't doing that wall and it would have shown. So after fixing that and the rest of the cracks it was painted with a slightly diluted coat, as I've no idea what paint the previous deccy used and then a further 2 coats applied

Little job for a new client. She didn't want any filling or sanding as the bed etc couldn't be moved. However, i did need to rake out, filled and sanded the cracks in the ceiling as I did advise her i couldn't leave it like that. So once that was done the walls and ceiling were wipes down with builders wipes to get rid of dirt and marks etc, then 3 coat of silk white were applied all over

Few jobs for a new client, new curtain fittings needed priming and then painting but noticed cracks so got it all caulked before hand. When I quoted I noticed the window had cracks as it hadn't been caulked and there was a crack under the window too, so those have been raked out, filled and sanded and then painted fully. Lastly, I forgot to take before photos of the stringer (flat edge of staircase) that had a large cracks in it, again this is due to it not being caulked, so this wall was filled and sanded, caulked, and then painted in its entirety and then the woodwork glossed too

Quick one in regards to this client that ive done several jobs for. Its going to be a couple of weeks before I can post the final photos. I had to go back to finish off as the joiner let him down 3 times whilst I was there..but he's now had carpet fitted and they've destroyed areas of woodwork. I cannot leave a clients property like that so il be going back in the next couple of weeks in my own time to get it all sorted out and back to how it was before the carpet fitters did they're work!
