Yes it's happening , who kew feb 2024 would be the time for my pilgrimage ,my Yatra with the Jetha , 2 weeks in Punjab on the Pakistan side walking the land that our founding father Guru Nanak Dev ji walked lived and cared for us to guide us to greater things.

Can't wait to see a place that was once unified with whole of punjab ..the itinerary looks amazing!

Every mother is full of wisdom and beauty and a cherished perspective on life formed through their life experiences.

Well today is my beautiful mums 80th birthday, I am super lucky to be her daughter, to have her ,to be looked after by her .The love is unconditional and I will never find it anywhere else. She is a mother from the generation that toiled , put up with stuff got on with it and put themselves last .

I loved today how at the gudwara she did not allow me to pick up dad's shoes and her own ,because daughters don't..its a lovely touching moment that elders of that time will do for their loved ones. The sevadar saw her do this and said let your lakhshmi(referring to me) to do seva for you ..that too was so deeply steeped in love respect of another time . But ....She is my lakhshmi/goddess.

My cousins , our shared journeys ..from the first picture which I feel captures our nature's, the shortest is the tallest of us all. I'm still a little artfully messy and the tallest still as perfect and pristine.
The broad smiles of our 3rd decade to last weeks meal ..let there be many more of these smiley times.
