The Little Furniture Room ‘Furniture redesigned, homes reinvented’

I tried painting a peach, my daughter insists it’s an apple. 🍑🍎

I’ll let you decide.

I enjoyed creating this piece so much that I made a second to sit alongside it.

They work beautifully as a pair, but also stand confidently on their own.

Left or right?

I’ve been testing the newly released acrylic paint pens from and I honestly love them.

The flow is so smooth, the colour payoff on black is amazing, and they work beautifully on wooden surfaces (which is a big one for me).

They feel more like painting than using a pen, and the layering is so therapeutic.

I’ll definitely be using these again. 🧡

A closer look ✨

Warm earthy tones and hand-painted florals, this little bedside chest of drawers was given a whole new look.

I’ve been working on some new art over winter, and when it’s too cold to work in my little workshop, I take over the house instead! ❄️🎨

A full reveal ✨

This mid-century G Plan dresser/vanity, dating back to around the 1950s–60s. Had been painted when I found it, so I leaned fully into re-imagining it rather than restoring it back.

The base colour is a custom pink, mixed using .paints ‘Suffolk Pink’ and ‘Venetian Red’, blended together when I ran out mid-project 🙈 (sometimes the best colours are happy accidents).

The hand-painted botanical design across the drawers was created using acrylic paint pens, adding layers of detail and colour to give the piece its own personality.

A one-of-a-kind transformation, ready for its next chapter. 💖💕
