Hello 👋🏼
I realised it’s been a very long time since I’ve properly introduced myself on here, so I thought it was about time I popped my face back onto your feed!
I’m Hannah, the person behind The Little Furniture Room, and I’ve been rescuing, painting and upcycling furniture since 2012. 🪑 🎨
If you’re new here, you may have found me through BBC One - Money for Nothing, or seen my work in Sparks Bristol - there have been quite a few new faces joining me lately, which has been so lovely to see. 🫶🏽
The last couple of months have been pretty busy, with lots happening behind the scenes and a little less of me popping up on here. I took some time to slow down, spend the summer with my kids and enjoy a bit of a breather, and generally make the most of the quieter moments in between projects.
My never-ending house restoration project is still very much happening in the background 😂 there’s always another room, corner or garden project waiting to be tackled!
Earlier this year I worked on a chest of drawers and a sideboard for Money For Nothing , and I’m now working on two more projects, so there’s plenty more to come! 👀📺
I’ve also just finished a commission piece, which I’m very excited to share with you soon. It has a fun little twist to it that I don’t usually get asked to incorporate, and I had so much fun bringing it all together, so keep your eyes peeled for that one! 👀

A couple of things you might not know about me…
🌿 I’m happiest when I’m making something with my hands, whether that’s furniture, decorating, DIY, crafts… basically give me a project and I’m happy.
🎨 I have a slightly unhealthy love of colour and will almost always choose the more interesting option over the safe one. 😂
🪑 And apparently I have absolutely no ability to walk past an old piece of furniture without wondering what I could do with it.
