It was really time for a hair cut 🐕

It doesn’t take much to bring an old faded piece of furniture to a new life. A bit of oil and paint and a little palm tree bring a bit of Mediterranean style I am so missing at the moment. 😎 🏝 😁

This sideboard was brought to a new life after being stripped off the faded old blue coat. The front panel veneer has been sanded, oiled with Tung oil and it looks so warm now. The top, sides and inside have been painted in black and bring a cosy contrast to the veneer wood colour. Almost thinking of keeping it for myself but we don’t have room unfortunately. Just finished upcycling and reshaping this old TV Corner Stand. The old piece was cut, the top was stained in a warm wood colour and boards painted with bright and lively colours. It will bring focus and fun in the living room or in a bedroom. It comes with 4 identical shelves which can be adjusted and 2 holes in the back to let cables run through. Made of pine wood and painted with attention to details.

Recycled some pallet wood and leftovers into this outdoor corner table covering up the water hosing system. Don’t throw away old unused wood, it can turn into something beautiful 😁

Hard to believe this used to be a chamber pot.... 😬 Too bad I didn’t keep a photo of the original piece. Now turned into a cosy and sweet little coffee table. I really like this dark navy blue, it goes so well with wood.

Always a relief and pleasure to find a crisp and sharp line when you pull the tape off. I wasn’t entirely sure about the combination of colours (mandarine with racing green) and it looks good. The new tv stand is coming out soon.... Happy Easter and stay safe!

Catching up on old projects.... repurposing this old tv stand (remember when tvs were the size of a gigantic barrel and weighted like a tonne?....). Giving it a more modern look and shape. Don’t throw away, get it repurposed, be different and support local business!

Homemade planer from a router.... rather approximate but enough for what I needed. One day I’ll have my own planer/thickener 😊

Managed to turn these 2 bedside tables into some more cosy and welcoming pieces. I find the birds on the front doors soothing and relaxing, perfect in a bedroom! 😊 It was an opportunity to master the stencil technics, it took a couple of attenpts and now the lines are crisp and neat.
