After a few months work, oak frame, glazing, treated softwood infill, insulation, plasterboard, covered in plywood, counter battens, Douglas fir boarding, roof tiles, lead flashing, it's now ready for the next stage.

A few teaser pictures of the current job, Part 1 ready to go, part 2 still being fabricated, tie-beam joint, posts with braces, 8"x 12" the front truss and two middle tie-beam trusses. Unfortunately the most important measuring tool got sat on by the forklift π₯Ίπ

Fitting the new rafter into the old barn in Norfolk, new purlins and ridge to tie into the old frame, replacing a few rat chewed studs and diagonals that have fallen out over time.

Back in the barn in Norfolk repairing the frame, replacing a post, replacing the missing braces and putting in a new wall plate.
