American Black Walnut and some rustic Oak are the perfect combination of Dark and light for this Lounge chair and Ottoman/Stool. All it needs now is some custom cushions to really finish it off as the perfect place to snuggle up with a good book next the radiator on these cold winter days and nights.

When the girlfriend says we need a bigger table and it’s less than 2 weeks till Easter you have to work fast! Simple table top made from 6x2 timber planks, jointed and glued into a top and mounted onto simple steel legs. Chairs from Dunelm. Decorations done by someone far more creative than myself.

Just a couple of small kitchen projects to help finish off our kitchen. Custom Walnut knife block and matching tea and coffee making station. The walnut contrasts the oak worktops really nicely. Finished with Rubio Monocoat Pure.

Sometimes it’s the simple jobs that bring the most satisfaction. After 35 years this wedding gift for my In-laws was looking very tired. A quick spin with a sander and suddenly the African dark wood really looks amazing. A couple of coats of my own home made board butter and it was ready to be used again.

Do you have a limited amount of room to work with? Do you need to put your Trainer/smart bike away after each use? Then let us see if we can work with you to make the rocker plate fit around your house and not having to redesign your house to fit round it!

Bit of a change from the usual postings but the crafty side of me has made up some smaller items. Coaster sets, edge grain chopping boards of various sizes and a small catch-all tray that perfect for putting those keys and things in so you don’t lose them like I always do. They’re all for sale. Testing out the laser engraver before adding my logo to a batch of cutting boards. Would make the perfect thank you gifts for customers, sponsors or just friends and family.
