I love this
Creative Workshops using recycled materials: repurposing, re-using and upcycling to create awesome new craft & art work. Open to all skill levels.
Lead by a multi-disciplinary artist/designer/maker. I am a multi-medium practitioner in art, craft and design. I wish to extend my experience and knowledge base to help others get the creative bug! My aim is to provide adult workshops in the community, mainly for beginners. I want to reach those who love art and craft, but don’t believe they can do it themselves. My workshops would also appeal to

This group, Drawn Together, hosted by Creative Health Camden at my local health centre has been instrumental in helping me keep in touch with my creative side. Here is moi sharing/showing and curating some of my recent work in readiness for our recent exhibition, up in the James Wigg health centre, in Kentish Town. We have work up in the Queen's Crescent health centre also.

This is so true and totally relevant to the art group I'm a member of. Creative Health Camden Its something any creative person should bear in mind, to practice playfulness and not always be concerned with perfection.

I'm going to take part in this. Let me know if you'd like to join a workshop to make a postcard for the Wanstead Post Art Trail. I will have a window mid-August as of writing.
Any of my friends interested in coming to a festive paper crafts workshop next month? Let me know, and I'll put some dates, and more info forward.

My mum is turning 85 years old young this month, so I thought I better make something special to commemorate it. I haven't made her anything for a spell, so really needed to for this special occasion.
This card was inspired by the vintage greetings card seen here. I acquired a whole box of these old cards and this one jumped out at me and said Save me for mum!
I love working with cardboard, so proceeded to construct an interesting presentation for it in the shape of a small box. This way, more embellishments and sentiments can be added, and discovered. It's kinda fun that her age is hidden inside, as I'm sure she would prefer it that way! The photo in the lid was taken 3 years ago, the last time I was home.
Loving this outsider type folk art! Quirky and charming.
Betty Webb Wild things made from my walks, materials picked up from beaches, woods and curbs.

Matt wanted to practive working with cardboard for a project at school, so we cleared the table and got started. Cardboard is one of the best, cheapest and most readily available materials one can use for many different projects. Matt decided to work on a 5 cm cube. It's not as easy as you think, as you have to calculate all the dimensions in each section, considering the thickness of the board. I decided I had to muck in and settled on doing a relatively simple heart shaped box. it wasn't long before we were both completely absorbed in our creations. If any one is interested in learning how to work with cardboard and would like a taster session, just get in touch.
