Part of the Oddments collection designed by Supergroup for TCS, the Oddments Pen Pot is a fun and practical accessory, offering a compact storage solution for the home office or workspace.

Created by the creative duo of ceramicist Ian McIntyre and artist John Booth, the collection began with a series of hand-drawn shapes used throughout Supergroup’s work, which were later developed into colourful ceramic objects. Defined by bold, graphic forms and a glossy ceramic finish, each piece reflects the duo’s playful approach to design.

Join us in-store this Saturday, 19 September, from 12–2pm to meet Isabel + Helen, who will be signing their Twister Series artworks.

Make the most of the final weekend of Motion Sickness, exploring a decade of kinetic experimentation through movement, materials and mechanisms. Alongside the exhibition, discover our other London Design Festival installations across the Sloane Square flagship, including Jig Studio, bringing together six internationally recognised contemporary Brazilian designers and artists, and Thresholds, curated by Stella Smith.

A selection of models and movement tests from the studio.
 
Isabel + Helen often use physical experimentation as a way of testing and developing ideas. As much of their work incorporates elements of engineering, movement or visual effects, making models helps visualise concepts, test theories and understand how an idea might work in practice before scaling up. They provide a space for development and adjustment throughout the design process, while also helping to assess the practicalities of fabrication.
 
Motion Sickness reveals the process behind the practice of Isabel + Helen. On view until Sunday 20 September.
