A serene little courtyard in London with hints of Moroccan influence. A much more useable and calming space with some simple changes. Mature trees and shrubs all preserved. Swipe to have a look at before 🍃

After and before of a project in Wimbledon. A previously unloved back area of the garden, the rest of the garden had been landscaped and this area was a blank canvas having been covered in leylandii for many years.

The clients wanted the new area to link on from an outdoor office. This was quite a tricky build with all digging done by hand as access didn’t allow for a digger, we also worked with a structural engineer for the new retaining wall hidden by new fencing.

Corten steel is used a lot in gardens and works both in contemporary and traditional schemes. It’s an incredibly durable material and weathers to produce a beautiful orange/brown layer of rust which happens to contrast beautifully against greenery. Here is a photo of some bespoke corten steel arches I designed softly sinking into the green.

Can’t believe this was a full year ago! Sadly I didn’t get round to going to Hampton Court this year but the gardens looked amazing from what I’ve seen, and much nicer weather for it too. This lovely photo was shot by in one of the few sunny moments last year as it was mostly torrential rain 🌧👌

Stachys byzantina also known as Lamb’s ears for obvious reasons! Definitely one of my favourite plants for texture, shape and colour. Paired here with trailing Muehlenbeckia and Vinca 🍃

Room with a view 🪟some photos of a project complete in Notting Hill, even though small in stature it provides a very green view from the house.

Gorgeous sawn yorkstone paving with some tricky cuts nearer the house due to the sky lights and the need for pedestals, looks really seamless against the green. Last photo is before.

Some further photos from the Bath project, the pathway through the garden allows for different areas to be screened creating a secret garden feeling to the space - not all is revealed at once!
