You'll find Owls, Badgers, Rabbits, Foxes, Dogs, Bears and Fish nestled within these posts.
Drawing from my since childhood interest in fabrics, buttons, hand embroidery I design and carefully handcraft items for the home that will appeal to adults and children alike. I have developed a range of decidedly British woodland creatures, that can either be weighted and used as door-stops book-ends or paper-weights, or soft and squishy for cuddling
I work with new high quality home interior

Hello.
I like sewing. I like choosing fabrics and making patterns, I like embroidery and collecting buttons.
I’m not such a fan of photography (or more accurately setting up the right lighting) and whilst I don’t mind tinkering with HTML I’d rather be sewing. or cooking. or sawing wood. or blowing glass.
But I’ve decided I rather like selling my wares. It makes me smile knowing that folk are charmed by my designs, and want to give them as gifts or to have them in their lives.
Whilst I really enjoy presenting my wares at markets, and have some great experiences doing them I want to get to grips with this on-line world.
There's an inevitable resolution: I promise to take better pictures of the items that I make. But I hope that until then you can squint a bit and see that these are friends you'd like to have and to share with others.
Be in touch if you'd like to make an order, tell me what you'd like and if there's a certain colour you had in mind I'm likely to be able to find away to bring that to life.
And if you can do that 'like' and 'share' thing that makes this facebook world expand that would be super ace too.

With glistening eyes and plump bellies these fish are inspired by native fresh water species. Hand crafted from cut velvets and other textured upholstery fabrics, with leather, vintage button and hand embroidered details these fish make great door-stops or paper-weights. £22 each
There was an I Love WN_Feast event at the weekend. It's brilliant to see the market growing and developing, and all through community volunteering. In April Feast will celebrate its second birthday, and I cant wait to see my stall buddies, and all the local folk who so enthusiastically support us! http://www.facebook.com/wnfeast
West Norwood Feast Together we've created a new monthly street market in West Norwood! To find out more: http://westnorwoodfeast.com/
