Claro black walnut is the Rolls Royce of the timber world and it's really quite easy to understand why. These are our find of the week! This sawmill surely has some of the finest slabs in the world and each piece is a unique piece of art. We now can import them into our UK and EU clients so please do enquire.

Happy 2024 y'all! A wonderful way to start the year with some images of our pre-Christmas install and very kind words from a delightful client! We're really please with this piece, with our custom designed legs, and our customer was too - here are a few of her kind words.
'We returned last night from our trip and unwrapped our table.
It beat all expectations and they were high!! It is beautiful, a work of art and craftsmanship. It is the best Xmas present we have ever given ourselves! Our girls absolutely fell in love with it too and it will undoubtedly become a family heirloom.
The benches are incredible and will serve a double role as coffee table and bench. The legs are incredible, that is the one aspect that I was a little worried I would not like but you were right and the black works a treat!! It has already transformed our room!
Thanks again for your patience with us and please pass on our comments to your creative team who are so skilled. This table will be much loved and we hope will host many happy family meals.

Finally! A break in the rain lets us get our client shots. This piece involved a sleek internal opening with some incredible detail in the slabs. Matching benches on either end were sourced from the same log and will be installed with bespoke designed legs. So pleased to see this one come together as sourcing caused some headaches! Beautiful french walnut - thank you.

This is Wicked.
We do things a little differently here at Wicked. We create extraordinary live edge slab and reclaimed tables, and they’re all ready for you to purchase. There are no short cuts – each piece is handcrafted from individually selected pieces of timber – but we know how frustrating it is to wait months for a piece of furniture once you know what you want, so we do all the hard work before you see them.
We’ve got a real, all-consuming love for what the world can give us. The beauty of each slab we work on is unmistakeable; carved by nature, weather and time – so it’s our duty to respect that. We work on each slab by hand, picking out each one’s unique characteristics and celebrating every knot, split and ripple. We think that shows in our finished tables – we keep each one true to its roots. Quite literally.
And those trees? They need putting back into the world. In September 2017 we bought our own patch of the earth to plant them in – 19.4 acres of ancient English woodland in the Hertfordshire countryside, to be exact. Left mistreated and forgotten for decades, we’re on a mission to restore it to its former glory. Replant, regrow, revitalise.
