Peckham Festival Will Return in 2027 ↩️↩️↩️

Ten years of extraordinary festivals have given us the confidence to do something we’ve never done before...

There will be no Peckham Festival in 2026. Instead, we’re taking a vital pause for breath: to listen, to work with the local artists, traders and communities who’ve made the festival what it is, and to build something bigger than a single weekend.

We’re not quite ready to share the details just yet, but what’s taking shape is more than
a festival.

Later this year we’ll be announcing what we’ve been working on, along with real opportunities to get involved before we return in 2027.

A celebration of Peckham wouldn’t be complete without honouring its food culture.

Expect a vibrant mix of vendors serving dishes inspired by the flavours of Rye Lane from Afro-Caribbean
bites to South Asian staples.

🌯 will be cooking up Persian vibes and serving them with love.

🌴 will be bringing the Afro-Caribbean soul of Deptford down the road to Peckham.

🫓 .rakh serving up plant-based cuisine with an Indian soul.

🍫 serving mouth-watering Brazilian delicacies.

🥞 bringing helpings of double stacked sweetness.

🥄 will be selling small bites while also fundraising and raising awareness about the vital work they do to support vulnerable members of the local community.

🌱 bringing you the freshest fruit juice to keep you hydrated all weekend.

BORN N BREAD are a South East London creative collective dubbed as major cultural influencers but most importantly a group of lifelong friends. ⋆⭒˚𖠋𖠋𖠋*.⋆

They've graced the Peckham Festival stage before and we are incredibly excited to be welcoming back - this time to close out the weekend inside UNIT/08. 📣

Their sound is heavily influenced by the African and Caribbean diaspora with hints of funky house, UK Garage, Hip Hop and nostalgic R&B. They always set the pace for a musical journey in the dance! 🪩⋆｡°✩

We are celebrating intergenerational voices and artistic expressions in response to displacement and cultural erasure within our communities, like Peckham and beyond🙌

Our Sunday lineup is here! PECKHAM FESTIVAL presents a day of culture, community & celebration, honouring the layered identities, creative voices, and resilient spirit of one of London’s most dynamic communities⚡️

Our host for the day - writer, actor & podcaster - brings her insight and passion with SYM Forum (Say Your Mind) - an open conversation with the local community on regeneration, identity, and the future of Peckham. As well as a book signing and children’s workshop centred around her children’s book Strong Like Me💥

You can also expect workshops & creative installations led by and featuring emerging artists - .mks leading a mural workshop, .drey presenting her Peckham Portrait series and hosting a photo collage workshop, leading a hands-on weaving workshop and .club bring the Black Book Swap back to Peckham Festival🖌️

We’ve also got plenty of live music and DJs to keep you moving throughout the day🔊

Peckham Festival 2024 - that's a wrap! 🌟🌟🌟

So many of you came down for exhibitions, live music, DJs, poetry, tattooing, workshops, conkers, skateboarding, open studios, a makers market, a zine fair, a sound installation, two orchestras, a family rave, film screenings, a vogue ball and a carnival dance workshop – plus so much more.
