INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING? Green Futures is a charity based on a 3.5-acre site on Bradley Road in Grimsby. We maintain a growing space that includes four poly tunnels, we also have a workshop, pond, nature trail, woodland and heritage apple orchard. We rely on volunteers to help us grow produce and maintain the site all year round, and in turn our volunteers benefit from open spaces and companionship in a nurturing growing environment. It’s a green sanctuary on the edge of Grimsby.
What will you do?
Help with the sowing, growing and planting for fruit, vegetables and flowers
Using DIY skills to maintain the site including basic woodwork, painting, cleaning and decorating
Helping with refreshments or organisational tasks on events days
Using machinery and mowers to keep the site’s grass and growing ideas tidy
Tending and looking after areas of site including our memorial garden

Opening times
The site is open Tuesday to Fridays 9-4.30pm, although this carry vary with light availability in winter. Volunteers must be 18+.
