You may have noticed that our furniture refinishes have slowed down the last few months. Life has been very busy and we’re currently in the process of moving out of our current house into our own FIRST home. Very exciting but also very stressful! This means we don’t currently have the space or time to refinish any pieces so FG is taking some time off and pausing. We will be BACK, with some absolute treasures we have sourced for our new home!

That matte black just hits all the feels. Gutted we didn’t get our hands on this Nathan MCM side table earlier….we love refinishing things in twos. We took the opportunity to refinish this one in Coal Black. Our favourite deep black 🙌🏼👌🏼

Nightstands refinished in Farrow and Ball French Grey, the most beautiful subtle shade of sage. We updated the bases to create the perfect pair of modern nightstands, finished with distressed vintage k***s.

Sorry that we’ve been so quiet on here. We’d hope to have revealed our current piece today but it’s been a very busy few days! Hope you’re all enjoying the good weather this weekend. We definitely can’t wait to sit down and relax this evening.

We decided to take our time with our latest piece and it’s been so worth it! We’re loving how these nightstands have been updated. We removed the bottom drawers and removed the outdated wood details on the bases to completely transform them. Refinished in Champlain, with brass hardware. A little Monday evening reveal to help brighten the day. Nathan MCM side table refinished in Cool Beans by , dead flat wax finish varnish by and new hardware.
This little piece feels like it’s taken ages! It’s been sat waiting to be refinished that long I can’t even find a before picture…just envision solid mahogany and a rusty ring pull handle and you’ve got yourself a before picture 😅
