Yin yoga postures for sleep ☁️
With the help of a bolster or Boofie 💫

Yin explores the relaxing side of the pose. Working in stillness these poses can be held for 3-8 minutes.

1. Fish pose/ Matsyasana 🐟 Heart is elevated, shoulders drape over your cushion, head supported & hips on the floor. To come out lie flat on your back.

2. Bridge pose/ Setu bandhasana 💙 Bolster under your sacrum, feet hips distance apart & lengthen through the back of your neck. To come out lie flat on your back

3. Childs pose/ Balasana ✨ Spread knees wider than hips, bottom to heels and bring forehead to bolster. To come out lie flat on your belly.

4. Legs elevated pose/ Viparita karani 👌🏻 Stimulating the parasympathetic system, legs up against the wall so your bottom is touching the wall, lengthen the back of your neck . Add a bolster to your feet for extra weight to ground energetically. Finish with a savasana 🌱
