🍁 Weekly roundup 🍃

W/c 19th October 2026

Monday - started with a job in Tarporley carrying out reduction works on multiple trees to allow more light into the customers garden.

Tuesday- We were on hire to our friends at JEC tree services with the Avant assisting the removal of an Elm Tree at a pub in Macclesfield.

Wednesday - a full day of log orders across Cheshire. 🔥

Thursday- another full day of orders including a visit to The Nook Luxury lodges in wrenbury. 🔥

Friday - Saw a day of maintenance as the commercial sites start to wind down ready for winter.

Saturday - another full day on orders. 🔥

We’ve also completed timber clearances across south manchester at 3 different sites…

In the background we have been helping Utility Arb firms working in the area as they carry out line clearance work - using our yard as a safe and reliable hub.

Chippers have also been out on hire so there has been late night checks and maintenance on those.

A full circle roundup of the timber related work we are involved with at the minute 👍🏻

💦 💨 First day out with our new petrol driven pressure washer. On this particular job water and power supply was an issue so the petrol driven unit feeding from the IBC water tank was the easiest option. Delivering 210 psi of cleaning force from the Honda GX340 and 16 litres a minute flow meant we could fly through it in no time. We are looking to add this service to our commercial maintenance sites throughout the winter months.
If you have a site that requires our services don’t hesitate to get in contact.

A day out on hire today with the Avant and grab for our good friends at Nick Bailey Tree Surgeons. All the timber forwarded out and onto the waiting trucks and trailers. I have to say the Hywel Evans log grab which was a prototype back in the day has stood the test of time 👍🏻

Here we are this morning at our local Ice Cream Farm Snugburys Ice Cream. The logs and kindling will be used for their fire pits in the coming months.

Another busy day on the deliveries as we work our way through the list of orders. As soon as that rain came everyone seemed to have the same thoughts!

For all orders don’t hesitate to call or message me on 07703336911.

A large firewood order delivered and stacked for a long standing returning customer this morning.
As always our mixed hard and softwood seasoned ready to burn load is what you see here.

Ready for cosy season in front of the fire…or 3 of them in this case! 😍

We are back to delivering on fixed days in certain areas as of this week. Deliveries running every day working through the order list.

For all orders give me a shout.

A nice mixed bag of removals and reductions today. The Beech tree was the highlight and turned out really well with a full canopy reduction and thin with a slight crown lift. The aim was to try and create a natural look cutting back to growth points and I’d say that was achieved 👍🏻

Removing some deadwood from a beautiful Oak tree this morning as part of an ongoing project. There is a public footpath running alongside the tree so a tidy up was in order. A welcomed day of tree conservation and maintenance. I’m sure this old girl has seen a lot over the years with many more stories to tell 🌳

Today we were over in Somerford removing a poplar tree that was causing a bit of myther being so close to the property. We dismantled the tree safely and efficiently removing all waste from site.
Thanks to Neil and Tom for the efforts on this one. 👍🏻

☀️ A few cages outside enjoying the summer sun or natures kiln as I like to call it. These cages will be heading into stock for late 2027.

Orders are starting to come in and deliveries are being scheduled for summer stock ups. Don’t leave it too late!
