Our amazing Rascals 'N' Ruffians volunteers will be out and about on Saturday 28th March, across Newry and outside Ballyholland Shop, raising vital funds for our playschool 💙

If you see us out with our buckets (and braving the weather! ☔), please give us a beep, a wave, or pop in some spare change if you can 💰

Every penny really makes a difference, helping us support the day-to-day running of the playschool and continue providing the very best resources for our current and future children 🌈

If you're out and about tomorrow in Newry, keep an eye out for all the Friends of Ballyholland P.S who will be doing a bucket collection around Newry, at Ballyholland Shop & outside Pairc Esler (Newry Shamrocks) to help raise vital funds for the children of Ballyholland Primary School. Give them a beep and pop some change in their buckets if you can! This is a great fundraiser which will directly benefit the local children of Ballyholland and surrounding areas! 💙

The Community of Ballyholland has had a very tough few weeks with the untimely passing of much loved people connected to the community.

The past few days have brought even more sadness with the passing of 2 much loved and respected members of our community.

Ballyholland Community Group is deeply saddened at the untimely deaths of Seamus Woods, Hillside Villas, who passed away on Wednesday 18th December and Pauline Dunne, Harmony Heights who passed away today, Saturday 20th December.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Woods / Poland families and to the Dunne / McAteer families at this very sad time. Please keep them all in your prayers over the coming days and weeks ahead.

Both Seamus & Pauline will be sorely missed by everyone who knew them.

Rest in Peace Seamus & Pauline 🙏🏼

A final 'Thank You' goes to all the amazing volunteers who work very hard behind the scenes to make everything happen! 👏🏼

Wow!!! What a fab night we had with Santa & his friends meeting all the good boys & girls in Ballyholland!! 🎅🦌 Thank you to Santa, Mrs Claus & the elves for taking time out of their very busy schedule to come and see us all.

A massive Thank You once again to our friend Niall at Corbally Mobile Fun Farm & Reindeer Hire for helping us get Santa's reindeer from the North Pole to Ballyholland tonight! 🦌

A big Thank You to our good friend Mully’s Donuts for supplying the donuts to everyone while they waited! 🍩 And a big thank you to all the helpers who made sure the children all got to enjoy some toasted marshmallows!

Finally a HUGE Thank You to everyone in the community & beyond who came tonight & have supported us throughout the year in any of our fundraising efforts to make tonight happen! We are very lucky to have the support of so many to allow us to give back to the community. Events like this are only possible with everyone's support! 👏👏👏

At the request of the Woods family, following the sad news of the passing of Seamus, they have requested that the Santa Walkabout continues as normal this evening.

As a mark of respect we would ask if anyone is following Santa, that they keep noise levels down whilst passing Hillside Villas

We would like to extend our condolences to Anna, Keith, Sinead, Joanna & the entire Woods & Poland family circle at this very sad time.

Date: Friday 19th December
Time: 6.30pm

Santa will be joined by one of his reindeer from the North Pole 🦌 and some other friends! The walkabout will begin at Rockfield Heights & finish at the Square in Innisfree Park.

Santa will have a little treat for all the children - this has been made possible by 2 very generous local businesses who donated selection boxes! A huge Thank You to Aj Plumbing Supplies Ltd.Plumbers Merchants Bathroom Specialists & Collie Fitzpatrick Timoneys Ice Cream for their generous donations!

We will have Mully’s Donuts in the Square serving some hot refreshments 🍩

The children will also have the opportunity to toast Marshmallows, free of charge.

There will be photo opportunities with Santa and his friends along the route & in the Square 🎅🦌🎄

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night!
