Time for the bassinet! This part of our pram was my godsend in the early months and I know some newer models have a tilt function to help with reflux etc. For babies who suffer from reflux this can mean a lot of spewing and bringing up milk/formula. Please don’t panic or think it all needs replaced! We can ensure all these stains are removed and completely fresh for your new 👶

Here at Pristine Prams, we are big advocates of extended rear facing in the car for our two boys. The incredible Lucy at Car Seat Safety Ireland has shared the following information today which is very important if you own this car seat. We are sharing this post as there are retailers local to us listed so it is possible some of our followers or customers own this seat. I can confirm I have been in contact with David Rogers Toymaster and while they do stock this brand, they do not stock this seat. Please do have a read.

The Peg Perego Viaggio Twist car seat failed in ADAC testing, both rearfacing and forward facing. This seat had passed the European R129 testing at 50km, but failed the more strenuous ADAC testing at 64kmph. I've been in contact with a rep for Peg Perego and they have said they are still investigating the outcome of this test with ADAC. Whilst this brand is not widely available around Ireland, there are stores that do stock Peg Perego. I'll list them below. Although the company have said they have stopped selling the seat temporarily, it does appear on retailers websites. If you have purchased this seat, I would recommend stopping using it immediately and getting in contact with your retailer or Peg Perego directly. Pitter Patter Toymaster, Nenagh. Toymaster Cavan. In case of a head-on crash, the seat and child could be swept out! 🛑 According to its own information, the manufacturer has now temporarily stopped selling the Viaggio Twist model - after it was only introduced on the market in October 2023. 👉 If you have already purchased this seat, it is important to act immediately.
