Another year of cutting back this 3.5m high ivy wall at Mill Farm which grows like crazy every year!

Gave it a good haircut whilst still keeping the coverage of the wall. It’s looking a lot tidier and much more manageable now.

What a difference a bit of hard work can make!

This garden had become seriously overgrown, with the grass, w**ds and overgrown bushes taking over and hiding a lot of the space.

I gave the whole garden a really good tidy, cut everything back and exposed the garden’s lovely features.

Once it was cleared, the difference was pretty impressive. It’s always satisfying seeing a garden go from the before photos to the finished result !

An extension to an existing gravel driveway to create a new path.

I used black core edging to define the new section, dug down to the right depth for the gravel, then laid landscaping membrane before topping it up with fresh gravel.

A fairly straightforward job, but it ties in nicely with the existing driveway, gives a much better path through the space and and stops the gravel from flying over onto the grass as the edging is raised.

This allotment plot had been left for a few months and nature had well and truly started taking it back. The bindw**d had gone mad and there wasn’t much left visible underneath it all.

I cleared the whole plot back, got rid of all the overgrowth and then covered the area with w**d membrane to help keep things under control.

A fair bit of hard graft, but a much better starting point for getting the allotment back into use.

This veg garden had seen better days, so it was time to give it a bit of a revamp.

I took out the old rotten timber beds and replaced them with solid 6x2 timber and added some matching edging to the front. The whole area was lined with membrane to help keep the w**ds down and finished off with a good layer of bark.

Nothing too complicated, but it’s made a big difference and has given the garden a much needed lease of life.

It has been a busy few months so naturally social media has taken a bit of a back seat.

Here’s a project completed for a commercial customer in Potton. A large 3x9m pergola with box profile roofing. Completed on one of the hottest weeks this summer! I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

I’ve got a few more projects from the last few months to share, so I’ll be getting some more photos up over the coming weeks!
