Vaderstad drill in the workshop today for a repair.
15mm plate holding a ram mounting point had sheared and customer had tacked it together to be able to fold up. I made templates from the good side and then fabricated a new part to give more weld than just rejoining the just the fractured part. V'd out both sides and welded before plating. Opposite side was also plated to stop that breaking.

Some work from this week !

26/09/2026

Syderstone village sign back in place at last.
I was asked to fabricate a steel post to replace the original Oak post and fit the sign, which i completed back in 2024 free of charge.
The post sat around in my workshop and then in another workshop for the last 2 years waiting for the remaining oak post to be removed, and finally it's complete and back in it's place.

A couple of little jobs finished on Friday.
3 aluminium net frames fabricated for a customer, 460mm rings rolled in house.
And a little job replacing 4 broken castors with new plates and castors in a local factory.

2 more steps added to the modified steel stairs case yesterday. The customer wanted me to copy and replicate how the rest of the stairs were fabricated. Also cut out all the diagonal bar and the central handtlrail as all being covered by a joiner.

Out onsite today extending a second hand spiral stair case centre post to make it work in its new location and getting it in position.
Back out tomorrow adding two more steps and other jobs required by the customer.
