Have it however you want it.
Here, we have added trim for the doors, fluted pillars and a fascia with decorative crown built up to match an adjacent cupboard.
Dial it up, dial it down, whatever suits your needs and budget.

Another one completed and ready to hand over to the painter. 💪🏼
Hallway window seat and shoe storage cubby area, with 3 soft close drawers as well. Also added some wall panelling to really add a bit of presence on this one too. Frames it off nicely I think. How do you like it?

This is one of the larger router jigs I’ve had to make. Third pic is the geometry that goes with it, find the circle that’s coincident with 3 specific points on the arc and that’s the radius needed for the jig. Takes the guesswork out anyway.
This was the only way I could think of to make the two arches of different widths but equal heights. How would you do it?

Not been spending much time on social media lately, so hello to anyone that missed me! 👋🏼
Pair of matching alcoves here, with arched pelmets above. All this will be painted of course (and not by me! 🤣), with added spotlights and lamps, hence the cables.
Really happy to finish up this job, with thanks to Hayley for collaboration on the design, and if anyone wants to follow along for the rest of this room transformation then I’m sure there will be more pics posted by

Finished up this window seat today in Leigh-on-sea; all ready for painting now.
This is going to make an amazing storage space as well as a lovely cosy place to sit and watch the world go by over Christmas!
