Not every useful part of the house needs to look practical.

This utility area was designed to hide the boiler, washing machine and everyday storage behind the same furniture, so when everything is closed it simply feels like part of the interior.

A small space, but a lot happening behind those doors.

Designed and supplied by MQ Modern Living, Sutton.

If you’re planning a kitchen, utility room or fitted storage, you’re welcome to visit the showroom and see the finishes in person.

Sometimes the best kitchen details are the ones you notice only when you start using the space.

This sink was fabricated directly into the worktop, creating one clean, uninterrupted finish.

It is also genuinely practical. When preparing food, peelings, scraps and anything messy can go straight into the sink instead of being left across the worktop.

It looks simple, but this kind of detail depends on very accurate worktop fabrication. Not every fabricator can achieve the finish properly.

A kitchen should look beautiful, but it should also make everyday life easier.

Would you choose an integrated sink like this?

Green, again.

Apparently, some colours earn their place.

For this client project, soft sage cabinetry is paired with expressive marble-effect surfaces, warm timber flooring and clean handleless lines.

The result feels contemporary without trying too hard — and practical enough to actually live with.

In the quiet corners of a room, where daylight meets the elegant simplicity of design, our wardrobes stand as silent keepers of memories. Each compartment holds not just clothes, but tales of occasions, moments, and milestones. In the modern world's hustle, we offer a piece that brings both calm and character to your space. It's not just about storage; it's about the stories you choose to keep.
