From creative ideas to products in store. 💛

Some of the designs you see across our new cards, mugs and tea towels start right here in our art sessions at Nickel Support.

Our trainees get the chance to explore their creativity, develop new skills and create artwork that can be turned into products for Interestingly Different.

It’s amazing to see their ideas go from a piece of artwork to something people can take home and enjoy. 🎨✨

Take a look at some of the creativity behind our latest collections!

It all starts with our trainees’ original artwork. 🎨

Those designs are then carefully developed and printed in-house, turned into our new coasters, and finally sold in store or shipped to our lovely customers.

Our trainees are involved in every step of the journey — from creating the original designs to helping bring them to life. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence and see their creativity become something people can enjoy.

Love the designs? Head to our shop and pick up your favourites! Every purchase helps us create more opportunities for our trainees.

Meet Katie! 💛

Katie has been busy creating our handmade coasters during her sessions, and she’s rightly proud of what she’s made.

She loves the friendly and supportive environment at and enjoys seeing her ideas turn into products that can be enjoyed by others.

And according to Katie, the coasters are pretty good quality too! 👀

Sometimes, the biggest impact we make can be heard in the simplest words. 💛

These are just some of the things we’ve heard our trainees say recently — little comments that remind us why what we do matters so much.

From feeling proud of something they’ve created, to enjoying being part of a team, making friends, learning new skills or simply having somewhere they look forward to coming to — these words mean a lot to us.

Behind every enterprise, every product and every session is a person. And our goal is to create opportunities for trainees to build confidence, learn skills, make connections, find purpose and feel proud of what they can achieve.

Swipe through to hear it from them. 🥰

Joe and the team have been busy learning how to print our mugs this week, and they’re absolutely loving it! 🙌

Did you know our mugs are designed AND printed in-house?
Every design features original artwork created by adults with learning disabilities at Nickel Support. And now, by printing our mugs ourselves, we’re creating even MORE opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence and gain valuable work experience.

So when you buy one of our mugs, you’re getting more than a great design.

You’re helping us create more opportunities, one cuppa at a time!
