I really wanted to share these beauties that were delivered last week, back to my lovely customer ☺️🩷
The chairs have been painted in a fresh, bright white to match the dining table which was painted previously and the seat pads recovered in this beautiful floral fabric.
I was also asked to make a table runner in the same fabric which now completes the dining set.
Now all ready for entertaining in style ✨️🥂✨️🥂✨️

Really enjoyed doing the restoration on this beautiful, solid wood dining table 🍂🍂
Before, the table top had faded in parts and was tacky to touch due to the wood repelling the previous finish.
After being completely stripped back and cleaned up, we then applied a durable top coat. Three coats later it now looks beautiful and original again!
I mean just look at that shine! ✨️

Delivered this beautiful dining table yesterday 😍
Passed down through the generations, this table has a lot of sentimental value and some gorgeous original features.
Its been fully stripped back and cleaned up, then finally re painted in a fresh white and sealed with polyvine sealant.
Now a complete set all ready to be enjoyed again for many more years ❤️

What a gloomy Tuesday were having 🌧
Just looking through some past commisions I've forgot to post when the weather was a lot more enjoyable 😆
This bench base was originally used in a barbers and has been customised for my client using the top of an old vaulting bench which they had salvaged.
It literally fits on top as if it's been made for the base. Just love how it's now got a brand new lease of life! Perfect for indoors or out! (That's when the sun is shining anyway 😂)

Three whole months since I last posted! 😱 don't think i've ever not posted in this long!
Truth be told though, it's been a crazy few months house hunting with the OH and our last one falling through 😩
Onwards and upwards hey! It wasn't meant to be!
Here is my very first restoration of a Kitchen Larder Unit..I'm really happy with how this one has turned out. I actually thought about keeping it!
Would you just look at that beautiful Oak wood!!
My first time trialing wood bleach too which I'm really impressed with!

This was a fun one to do 🪡
The fabric that was previously on had faded quite a lot and the feet were a dull brown colour..yuk!
With some shiny new fabric and painted black feet, it's as good as new!

These beauties have just been collected ready for their new home 🍂
Painted in a white wash as the wood grain was too pretty to cover up and I wanted to achieve neutral tones.
All finished off with the seats recovered in a luxurious Bouclè fabric to add warmth and comfort.

Story behind the Chair....
It was especially made for me when I was just 3 years old, I remember sitting and reading my favourite stories on it ☺️
30 years later...
I ventured into the world of upholstery and thought what a great project it would be in class. This little chair travelled back and forth to Horwich with me and each week began to take more shape.
I then finally finished working on it at home, doing the finishing stitches and wrote a little special message on the frame.
I plan to pass it down to my little boy and keep as a family heirloom for many more children to come... ❤️

Relieved to finally have finished this little chair! A labour of love to say the least but I'm feeling accomplished 😄

Well I can finally share it all with you all! This is my second time working with deep buttoning and it's not bad to be fair. Still plenty of time needed to brush up my skills.

Christmas is just a peep away and I love looking back at previous work around this time of year ☺️🎄
This was a custom order for a little one bought by his grandma and its the perfect sort of gift to store away all those new toys ✨️
I really miss my little/big one having his own toybox and I've got a feeling this may be the last year he believes 😮🎅 (sad mama)
