Well, I’ve done it… I’ve ventured back into the world of TikTok! 🤣

Currently sitting there with no friends, no followers and very little idea what I’m doing! 😂

But I’m going to have a go at making some of this thing they call content!

Expect plenty of gorgeous animals, a little behind-the-scenes and hopefully some useful nuggets of knowledge along the way. 🐾

If you’re on TikTok, please come and find me, give me a follow and keep me company while I figure it all out! 💕

👇 Here’s my new little corner of TikTok!

It’s no secret I love a bulldog! ❤️

Mabel is no exception. She’s settled into her new life and it shows, she was much less anxious today. No gold star but a pink bow instead.

Handsome Oski the Siberian was in this morning for his groom.
Did you know Siberians have a triple coat?
This is made up of …
Guard hairs: The longer, coarser outer hairs help repel moisture and protect against the elements.

Awn hairs: The intermediate layer contributes insulation, body and texture.
Plus a …
Downy undercoat: The soft, dense layer closest to the skin provides warmth and insulation.
These layers aren’t always clearly distinguishable, and their density varies considerably between individual cats and seasons.

The 80s called… they want their hairstyle back! ✂️🐶

Business at the front, pawty at the back! 🐾😂

Who knew the mullet would make a comeback in the groom room?

Little cowgirl boots complete Meadow’s new look - for one time only says her Mum but I have a suspicion she might like it done again! 😜

1st bath today for this very handsome boi .

Meet my latest recruit, German Shepherd puppy Madagan. 🖤

I deliberately didn’t use the noisy, high-velocity blaster to dry him. We are working on slow and comfortable introductions to equipment, so it was just the stand dryer today until he’s fully confident around it.

I think it’s obvious I found out how to help him worry less about the dryer - he was totally more interested in the tasty LickiMat contents! 😋

Table parameters and being off the ground mastered and the squeaky toy lives to see another day. A good session accomplished.

🐾 Last-minute appointment available today at 4.30pm!

Due to a cancellation, I have a grooming appointment for a dog, cat or small furry available this afternoon.

Please WhatsApp me on 07980 676897 if you’d like to book. ☺️

A little heads-up about bookings for 2027! 🐾

From 1st January 2027, all grooming appointments will require a £20 deposit to secure your booking.

This is not an additional charge — your deposit will be deducted from the cost of your groom on the day.

My existing 48-hour cancellation policy will continue to apply.

If you need to cancel or rearrange, please give me at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may result in some or all of your deposit being retained to cover the loss of the appointment.

As a small, independent, one-to-one grooming business, every appointment is reserved exclusively for your pet. Unfortunately, last-minute cancellations often leave me unable to offer that time to someone else. I’m also £800 down in revenue in last 6 weeks due to short notice cancellations. I can’t continue to operate my business like that.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. It really does mean a lot. 💕

Wow 160 FIVE-STAR GOOGLE REVIEWS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I meant to thank everyone when I got to 150 but life got in the way - so I’m just going to celebrate this little milestone instead.

When you run a small business single-handedly, every kind word, recommendation and review really does make a difference.

Bentley & Bear has always been about more than just grooming. It’s about taking the time to understand each animal as an individual, respecting their needs and making their experience as comfortable and positive as possible.

So to know that so many of you appreciate the way I work genuinely means the world. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their much-loved cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, and especially to those who have taken a few moments to share their experience on Google.

160 five-star reviews. That’s 160 reasons to feel incredibly grateful. I appreciate you.

Thank you so much for supporting my little business and allowing me to do something I absolutely love. ❤️

Handsome Milton, in for his usual groom. 🐰

This holey towel is reserved especially for him as he’d rather chomp at that (or my overalls 😳) than eat the tasty Rabbit pizza 🍕 his Mum brought in!
