I could really do with an amazing holiday somewhere hot and tropical.

Unfortunately that will have to wait for a while so I decided to create something which would bring those holiday vibes alive.

Meet ‘Jungle Paradise’ my latest work.

This will be going live on my selling platforms tomorrow so if you love this as much as I do jump in quick before someone else does.

Books are not just for reading.

Books are perfect to decorate your home with and here are a few tips on how to accomplish this.

- Make a pedestal from books to display a framed photo, lamp or plant.

- Use old books with interesting spines to add interest to a book case or mantel and use an eye catching ornament as a book end.

- Create a display on your coffee table with books that would appeal to your guests, especially books with beautiful images they can skim through.

- For a bright, interesting and colourful look make a display with books that have the same colour spines. Use a colour wheel (readily available on an internet search) to see which colours work well.

These are just a few ideas but the internet is brimming with more.

How would you us books as decoration in your home.

The two dark and dreary months are now behind us.

March always fills me with optimism. Daffodils are starting to pop up and new born lambs are frolicking in the fields.

Change is in the air.

Tell me what you love about this time of year

Upcycling is not only good for the environment, but it's also good for your mental health.

The act of creating something new out of something old can be an incredibly therapeutic process.

I changed this unloved vase into a vintage pitcher.

What would you upycle?

It’s Friday and you know what that means….it’s nearly the weekend 💓💓💓

If I’m not in my workshop painting I LOVE to go for a good old English breakfast at our local garden centre. In the afternoon I might put my feet up and watch a film.

What do you LOVE 💗 to do on a weekend?

Tell me in the comments below.

It’s coffee time!

I really LOVE how this large round coffee table turned out, don’t you?

It’s not advertised yet but I wanted to share it with you and give you the opportunity to get first dibs on it.

If you LOVE it as much as I do and want some more information please drop me a message.

I had a day out this week - how naughty of me?

These will be the only flowers for me this Valentines month.

I’m a Yorkshire lass and I hate to see anyone paying over the odds.

My other half is exactly the same and once got caught taking a photo of flowers outside a florists shop.

When asked what he was doing he told them he was taking the photo to send to me for Valentines Day as he was too tight to buy any flowers.

I won’t tell you what they said but he went off with a flea in his ear 😂🤣😂🤣🤣
