🌳 A little oak beauty, made right here in our workshop 🚪

We think this bespoke oak framed, ledge and brace door deserves a moment in the spotlight!

Handcrafted by our talented joiner at Winkleigh Timber, this door is a lovely example of the character and beauty that make working with natural oak so special.

👀 Take a closer look at the frame and you’ll spot those beautiful medullary rays, natural markings in the oak that catch the light and give the timber its unique character. No two pieces of oak are ever quite the same, and we think that’s part of the magic!

Swipe through to see the door in its natural habitat… well, almost! The first image has had a little help from AI to show how this beauty might look fitted in its new home. Apologies to anyone who thought we’d been busy building houses as well as doors!

The real thing, of course, was made and finished right here in our workshop, with care, skill and attention to detail at every stage 🛠️

😂 When you pop in to take a photo of a bespoke door and end up with three handsome models instead!

We don’t often get them all posing for the camera, so I suppose the door will have to share the spotlight this time! 🚪🪵📸

Luckily, Santa doesn’t have to make one himself, here at Winkleigh Timber we already have Christmas table orders coming in, and there’s still a little room for a few more!

If a new oak table is on your Christmas wish list, now’s a good time to get in touch🎄🪵

We’ll be updating our availability towards the end of October, so don’t leave it until Christmas Eve, even Santa needs a bit of notice! 😉
