It definitely won't be the weather we had last visit, but I am giving it a go tomorrow morning for DebenEvents Vintage & Makers' Market! Find us Suffolk Food Hall from 9am tomorrow until the weather turns.... Shop early! Last outdoor market for 2026, can't miss it, I would get fomo 😂

Am I mad? Probably. Come and be mad too...

I have been unpacking our Amiens buys and have put together as little taster of what we bought... There's lots more, but it's still to be unwrapped! Come along to Suffolk Heritage Events at Old Hall Cafe, nr Southwold this Sunday and see!

We have made it to Amiens, after a few detours to buy new stock en route, ready to start hunting tomorrow night as the Grand Rederie starts to set up, continuing early hours Sunday morning and on through the day. Tomorrow morning we have time for a little sightseeing before preparing for the crowds, sleep deprivation and 30,000 steps. Go-go gadget legs!

Absolutely cannot wait!

It's a slightly quieter one for us this month on the market front... but not in general as we are off sourcing in France this weekend and then my gorgeous Ma has a significant birthday the weekend after!

The Suffolk Heritage Events All Weather Fair is always a good one, situated in a huge barn Old Hall Southwold next door to their delicious cafe and with walks along the river Alde, you can really make a day of it!

Then it is our last hurrah outside for the year, when we join the fantastic gang of jolly traders for DebenEvents Vintage & Makers' Market at Suffolk Food Hall ...

So, two chances this month to get first dibs on our French finds, get those dates in your diaries! And don't forget, there's always our permanent home Marlesford Mill and, as we head into the quieter time, expect updates of stock on our website too.

I have just spent a very enjoyable afternoon adding new treasures to our space Marlesford Mill ... it's always fabulous to catch up with the other dealers (see you in Amiens and Jonny Bew ) and peruse all that they have to offer. With thirty of us under one roof, there's bound to be something to tempt all tastes and budgets! Marlesford Mill is open every day from 10am, closing at 3pm on Sunday and 5pm all other days. There's free off road parking and with fab new signage it's easy to spot from the A12 as you pass through Marlesford village. A few buildings along from Two Magpies Bakery ...

Why not make a road trip of it and combine with a visit to our friends the-barn.co and Yoxford Antique Centre ?

I bought a job lot of antique shear top ink bottles and had a glut of dried lavender and statys... Should be ironing my tablecloths for this weekend but decided to get creative in the sunshine instead. These little posies are coming with me to DebenEvents tomorrow....
