Back to more house work. Floorboards were not in a good way so decided to replace them and insulate under the floor while I’m at it.

Quick little project today for my wife .crochetnest . She wanted a ladder to display her crocheted blankets at craft fairs.

Todays job making a new loft hatch opening. Very messy job 😢

Time to get productive on the bank holiday weekend. Next house project making the bathroom bigger.

Finally got some time today to do some woodworking. New coffee table to go with our pallet themed living room. Now it just needs to be burned 🔥

shou sugi ban feature wall is taking shape. Loving all the different colours and patterns the burning brings out.

Next project is a wooden feature wall, so we had a go at doing some shou sugi ban. Absolutely love the way these turned out, only another 50 odd to go.

Work bench nearly complete, few more shelves and it’s done.

Always feels good to get a new tool. Got this Makita UK multi tool. Definitely an upgrade from my Aldi one 😂 and will come in use for the house renovation.

New sliding door up in the living room. Week by week it’s starting to look more like a home than a building site.

Wanted a nice little cupboard that would hide the router and hive cables. Made all out of pallet wood, and finished it off with a paw print to pull the front panel off.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday money, I’ve put it to good use. We have so many doors, walls and ceilings to paint in the house that this was a no brainer. I’ve read many good reviews about this sprayer, so hoping it makes life easier.
