MobiMY+ are extra services offered to protect your mobile in even more ways and it makes retrieval possible. These services are offered on the website or in the mobile application MobiMY. After installing, registering is done in a matter of seconds. The App reports the IMEI number to the MobiMY system and secures it. The App allows users to secure the data on their device when its lost or stolen. Users can remote lock their device, to prevent it from being used on any participating network. They can send a message to the device when it's lost. And it finds its way back to the owner when it is found. And if all else fails the can remote wipe the device and clear out all data.
SMS:
Not all mobile devices support an App. For these cases, MobiMY has developed SMS registration. Sending a simple text message to a shortcode allows the device to be registered in the MobiMY system.
