Re-design / modernization a hotel project in Banyuwangi.
The goal is not just visual enhancement, but also to align the building with new design trends, user needs, and climate-responsive strategies—especially in approaches like Modern Tropical Architecture, where facades play a key role in controlling heat, light, and airflow.
This redesign project includes re-planning to achieve better air circulation, sunlight, and facilities. The existing building was built more than 15 years ago.

Padel court in Banyuwangi, East Java - INDONESIA.
It is designed with a tropical-style concept, allowing natural airflow through roster walls, windows, and roof-mounted air turbines. Natural light enters through the air turbines, glazed windows, and perforated roster walls. The selection of materials and color finishes enhances the tropical atmosphere while maintaining a modern architectural expression.
This padel court designed as an integrated lifestyle space. Today, sports facilities such as padel courts are no longer purely dedicated to physical activity; they are spatial platforms that accommodate social interaction, informal meetings, and business engagement. The architecture responds to contemporary living, where recreation, community, and lifestyle converge within a thoughtfully designed environment.

Hotel Suite Villa – Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia
Located in Banyuwangi, East Java, this hotel suite villa adopts a modern tropical architectural style as an extension of our earlier front-area development. The design emphasizes openness, natural ventilation, and seamless indoor–outdoor integration to respond to the local climate.
The villa features a complete two-bedroom suite arranged on a single floor, offering flexibility in operation. Each bedroom can be rented separately or as a whole private villa. Furthermore, the layout allows future expansion by connecting to an adjacent executive room through an interconnecting door, creating a spacious three-bedroom suite when required.

This house showcases a modern minimalist design with clean cubic forms and a white textured façade that emphasizes simplicity and elegance. Narrow upper windows provide privacy, while subtle cantilevering and soft landscaping add visual balance and warmth. Original design was a 3 storey building house, so when client requested to reduce it into 2 storey only, we were struggling a bit on how to make proportion look nice and elegant. After few modifications we came up with this shape design, curved - the same as the shape of the corner of the road.

Modern Design with Respect to Local Culture
Modern architecture that respects local culture seeks harmony between innovation and tradition. It adopts contemporary design principles—clean lines, open spaces, and functional layouts—while embracing the values, materials, and climate of its surroundings. Rather than copying traditional forms, it reinterprets local heritage in a modern way, creating buildings that are both timeless and contextually grounded. This approach celebrates cultural identity, supports sustainable living, and ensures that modern design remains connected to its place and people.
