Technology designed by a farmer for farmers. Herdalerts was created to lower the barriers of collecting and recording data for farmers using mobile technology.
There is no service which generates a fertility profile of each cow through SMS. The system receives and records a heat cycle of each bovine through SMS before, during and if necessary after the breeding season begins. The farmer observes the bovine in heat, sends the last 5 digits of the tag number to the system and a reminder text is sent to the farmer. This data generates a fertility profile for each cow over a period of time.
