Board Game Tables! Made to elevate your game nights, and use as a regular table on regular nights. Long lasting, strong, functional and sustainably made.

Made in Ireland by an Irish award winning designer/maker Brian O'Connell Top Dog Game Tables exists because Brian
O’Connell spent two decades playing board
games on tables that weren’t built for them. Every design decision traces back to that
frustration. and the conviction that serious
games deserve a serious table. Before furniture, Brian built a career as
professional juggler, and has a world record for
juggling with his feet. The required dexterity,
precision and focus turn out to be surprisingly
good skills for fine woodwork. A maker from
an early age across woodwork and sewing, he
brings the same obsessive attention to detail to
every table he creates. With degrees in Manufacturing Engineering
and Furniture Design, the sustainability and
engineering decisions behind every Top Dog
table are grounded in real expertise. In 2023 that commitment was recognised with
the Future Makers Award, one of Ireland’s most
prestigious honours in craft and design.

Another table delivered and another delighted customer. This was bought as a birthday gift by a group of friends for a seriously hardcore gamer who plays everything, board games, TTRPGs, wargames, you name it.

After years of playing on a plastic fold out table the group now have a very elegant and spacious play space. It's the DineCombine 8 player, with a special request for an extended lid to fit large battle maps. They opted for Cedar Baize and Cortado stain and it came out beautifully.

Game tables make games more fun and less stress. Keeping snack and drinks away from the playing area keeps expensive games from getting ruined by spills.

Card holders, drink holders, snack trays, and a beautifully soft playing surface enclosed by walls with integrated card holders all combine focus the fun for the whole evening.

And even if you don't finish that night, you can pop the top back on and return exactly where you left off.

Where do these tables come from?

The entire top rail is an integrated card holder, keeping your hands free and cards visible when you need them. Tip from the Top: tip your cards forward for privacy from your neighbours.

What's that lovely surface though?

The BitPit component tray has lots of functions!
4 separate trays for sorting your player components
Flip it to be a mobile snack bowl tray
Stick it in the tail and it becomes and easy-reach rulebook holder, or phone holder.

That's fiddley bits sorted. What about cards?

The MugSnug cup holder sits and slides along the top rail, comfortably attached to the TopDog clip. It can be reversed for even more secure holding of glasses and cans, and while you're at it the TopDog's tail is a handy phone holder. What else could you need?

Underneath hides a vault, perfect for saving games in place overnight or while you eat. What about those accessories?
