Jim Kiernan was to the forefront of the development of the Chamber of Commerce in Kells , he was a driving force in fundraising for Christmas Lights , the Hay Festival . No matter what was asked of Jim and Mary their answer was always the same , yes . We have lost a stalwart of the Kells Business Community and a part of what makes our town special . He was a proud Kells man and will be so sadly missed by so many .
