I spent the day yesterday at Newport Christmas Market and what a day it was.

Huge thank you to Mary and Caroline .ie for organising such a great day out for the community and the stall holders.

It was fantastic to do a home market and meet people I haven't seen in years. This to me is the real win of a market, to get the opportunity to meet and chat to some truly lovely people and share my craft along yhe way.

Sneak peak at my latest project😉

This is my latest big project a solid Ash hardwood cot.

After months of crafting I'm extremely delighted with the final product. The cot was designed to fit tidly into our bedroom while still leaving space to navigate around it. It fits a standard 50 x 100 mattress and has 3 different height adjustments to grow with our little one.

A big passion for me is to create pieces that can be passed down through generations and become a family heirloom product. We all have a piece in our family that's been passed down be it a moses basket, christening shawl or what have you. For me it's more than the piece it's the story behind the piece that I fall in love with. This Ash cot will most definitely be passed down and I'm very excited for the years to come to see who will be part of its story.

This has been my third cot build in the last 3 years so I feel like we are definitely well aquatint at this stage.

This little beauty is completed and ready for its journey to Hawaii 🌺🥥🌴

This personalised wooded plaque is going to be a little gift of home to remind a lucky someone abroad of the picturesque village of Galbally.

It's made from solid beech and assembled using a traditional mortice and tenon joint.
