From crop failure to code-led farming: An entrepreneur bets big on AI to grow high-value crops 26/03/2026

There was a time when crop failures raised more questions than answers.
Today, those same challenges have shaped a new path, where agriculture meets intelligence.

Grateful for every setback that pushed me to rethink, rebuild, and reimagine farming.
This is just the beginning 🙂

Happy to share my thoughts in *ET Edge Insights* on how the real measure of AI in India will go far beyond the current conversations around large language models and compute infrastructure.

In the article, I discuss how the real impact of AI will be seen in its ability to build systemic resilience and predictability across critical sectors. When applied thoughtfully, AI can strengthen decision-making, improve operational stability, and help organizations navigate uncertainty with greater confidence.

For India, the opportunity lies not just in developing AI capabilities but in deploying them at scale to solve real-world challenges, enabling industries to become more efficient, adaptive, and future-ready.

The next phase of AI adoption in India will not just be about technology.
It will be about creating systems that are smarter, more resilient, and capable of delivering predictable outcomes in an increasingly complex world.

AI will change agriculture more than tractors ever did.

Honoured to share my thoughts on the future of AI-driven agriculture and controlled-environment farming in Dainik Bhaskar, one of India’s largest newspapers.

In the interview, I spoke about how the next phase of agriculture will move from uncertainty to predictability ,powered by AI, indoor vertical farming, and intelligent biological systems.

We are also exploring areas that are still rarely discussed in India’s farming ecosystem ,such as indoor pollination systems for berries and regenerative soil biology through our Earth to Worm initiative, where earthworms help restore natural soil fertility.

The future of agriculture will not just depend on land and climate.
It will depend on data, biology, and intelligent systems working together.

Why predictability is the new productivity - Securing India’s sovereign food interests 24/01/2026

Pleased to share my latest article published in Hindustan Times.

In this piece, I explore why predictability has become the new productivity in agriculture, and why it is central to securing India’s sovereign food interests. As climate volatility, supply-chain disruptions, and resource constraints intensify, food systems can no longer depend on uncertainty-driven models.

The future lies in controlled environments, data-led cultivation, and technology that delivers consistency, resilience, and reliability, not just higher yields. Predictable agriculture is no longer an efficiency upgrade; it is national infrastructure.

Delighted to share my first OpEd in ET today, written from conversations and insights at the Global Leaders meeting at the World Economic Forum, Davos, on the future of cutting-edge, AI-led, sustainable agriculture.

In today’s world, productivity alone is no longer enough. What truly matters is predictability. Climate volatility, geopolitical disruptions, and fragile supply chains have shown us that food security is not about producing more, but about producing reliably. For a country like India, feeding nearly one-fifth of the global population with limited natural resources, predictability in agriculture is a matter of sovereignty, not efficiency.

Technology, data, and AI-driven farming systems must now work hand in hand with policy and farmers to reduce uncertainty and build resilience. When agriculture becomes predictable, nations become resilient. We at Panama Corp leverage AI to maximize productivity, to end world hunger.

Would love to hear your thoughts 😊🙏
