Taking our cue from the simplicity of the brief we designed a space which is conducive to prayer and meditation while also addressing the Vastu concerns of direction and placement of the elements within the space.

Here's another space from the last shared project. Our approach from the onset was to exercise restraint in curating the experience. It was crucial in preserving the integrity of the existing space and ensuring that new interventions complemented rather than overshadowed it.

Retrofitting interiors involves carefully adding new layers and arrangements of furniture, lighting, artworks etc. to a residence to refresh the space without losing its essence.

Planning, calculating and visualizing lighting is critical in the design of spaces. The generated visuals are not realistic but gives a definite idea of the light quality and its rendering of the space.

A view of the reception area. The artworks on the wall is fabric patchwork made using the remains from the factory. The ceiling pendants again are designed putting the fabric at the forefront. Custom sized terracotta brick tiles articulate the counter. The same tiles in grey define the walls at the top. The blank wall of the corridor is decorated with the framed achievements and awards accumulated by the enterprise. The corridor terminates at the temple with a perforated partition to allow visual interaction with the inside of the space.

Studio space for a fashion design house. New facade openings to let more daylight in. Custom-designed lighting fixtures with precise color temperatures and CRI to reveal the colors of fabrics faithfully. Fixed the flooring level and retained the existing Kota. The terracotta red in its different applications is a tying element for spaces across the floors. A table in the centre is meant for open discussions and hands-on working.
