അഗതി മന്ദിരത്തില് അന്തേവാസിയെക്കൊണ്ട് ചെരുപ്പു തുടപ്പിച്ച് സൂപ്രണ്ട്
കൊല്ലം: ഓഫീസ് കസേരയില് അമര്ന്നിരുന്നു സന്ദര്ശകരോടു കുശലം പറയുന്ന സൂപ്രണ്ട്. നിലത്ത് ചമ്രംപടിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു സൂപ്രണ്ടിന്റെ ചെരുപ്പുകള് തുടച്ചു വൃത്തിയാക്കുന്ന 70 വയസുകഴിഞ്ഞ അന്തേവാസി. കൊല്ലം മുണ്ടയ്ക്കല് സര്ക്കാര് അഗതിമന്ദിരത്തില് നിന്നുള്ള ഓണക്കാഴ്ച ഇതാണ്.
കൂനമ്പായിക്കുളം ക്ഷേത്രഭരണസമിതിയും കൊല്ലം ഡി.സി.സിയും അഗതികള്ക്ക് ഓണക്കോടി വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചടങ്ങില് പങ്കെടുക്കാനെത്തിപ്പോഴാണ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ശ്രദ്ധയില്പെട്ടത്. ഓരോ ചെരുപ്പും തുടച്ചു വൃത്തിയാക്കാനായി അന്തേവാസിയെ ഏല്പ്പിച്ച സൂപ്രണ്ട് കെ. ചന്ദ്രബോസ് അഗതിമന്ദിരത്തില് എത്തിയവരോട് കുശലം പറയുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. നന്നായി വൃത്തിയാക്കാനുള്ള നിര്ദേശം സൂപ്രണ്ട് ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ നല്കുന്നുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ചെരുപ്പുകള് വൃത്തിയായോയെന്നു മറിച്ചുംതിരിച്ചും പരിശോധിച്ചശേഷമാണ് സൂപ്രണ്ട് കാലിലണിഞ്ഞത്.
ഇതു നിത്യവും ചെയ്യാറുണ്ടോയെന്ന് അന്തേവാസിയോടു രഹസ്യമായി ചോദിച്ചെങ്കിലും പ്രതികരിച്ചില്ല. ഭയത്തോടെ അയാള് ഒഴിഞ്ഞുമാറി. 160 അന്തേവാസികളാണ് ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതില് 55 പേര് സ്ത്രീകളാണ്. മാനസിക വൈകല്യമുള്ളവരും ഇവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുണ്ട്. 50 വയസിനു മുകളിലുള്ളവരാണ് ഇവരില് പലരും. ചെരുപ്പു തുടയ്ക്കല് മുതല് വീട്ടുജോലികള് വരെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര് ഇവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നതായാണ് വിവരം. അഗതിമന്ദിരത്തിലെ ഗേറ്റ് വാച്ചര് ജോലിയും അന്തേവാസികളാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്ന് ആരോപണമുണ്ട്.

ഇത് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതല്ലാ നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലെ പോലീസുകാരുടെ മനോഭാവം ആണ്, ഡിജിപിയുടെ ഉത്തരവിന് വിരുദ്ധമായി മെട്രോ പണി നടക്കുന്ന ഒരു ട്രാക്ക് മാത്രമുള്ള ഇടുങ്ങിയ എറണാകുളം എംജി റോഡിൽ നാല് വശത്ത് നിന്നും വാഹനം വരുന്ന ജങ്ക്ഷനിൽ വഴി തടഞ്ഞുള്ള ട്രാഫിക് പോലീസ് ചെക്കിങ്ങ്ന്റെ ദ്രിശ്യങ്ങൾ ആണിത്..
ചിത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തിരിയാൻ സ്ഥലമില്ലാത്ത ഈ പ്രദേശത്ത് നടുറോഡിൽ പെറ്റി അടിക്കാനായി തടഞ്ഞിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കറുത്ത കാറും, ബൈക്കിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്നകുടുംബത്തെയും കാണാം.
