University, Mumbai! and bamboo tales designeLLP
3 Days. 1 Material. Endless Possibilities.
We recently hosted an immersive 3-day residential bamboo workshop for Industrial Design students — and what an inspiring journey it’s been!
From harvesting and cutting to splitting, shaping, and joining — students got their hands dirty (and hearts full) as they explored the beauty and versatility of bamboo as a sustainable design material.
Through practical learning, tool handling, and collaborative prototyping, these young designers began to see bamboo not just as a material — but as a story rooted in nature, tradition, and innovation.
A big shoutout to the curious minds and committed hands that made this workshop so meaningful.
This is just the beginning!

“In the art of life, even the cuts can create beauty. The bamboo’s smile reminds us that growth is often born from change and transformation. Embrace your journey, and let it make you smile. 😀 ”
