Classic Indian art of Kalamkari fused with classic French woodcraft.

At Tvam Aadi, our foremost motto is to celebrate India’s rich heritage and culture by bringing its beautiful handloom weaves into the world of upholstery.

This piece is a little ode to that very thought.

Upholstered in Kalamkari, a traditional Indian art form originating in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the sofa celebrates intricate, hand-drawn motifs created using a pen (kalam) and natural colours. Every flourish reflects the beauty of a craft passed down through generations.

The furniture follows the elegance of classic French design, with graceful curves, delicate carving and timeless proportions. Its understated detailing allows the richness of the Kalamkari weave to take centre stage.

We believe our traditional weaves deserve more than a place in our wardrobes or on our walls. They deserve to be lived with, celebrated and cherished in our homes.

Normal is boring!

This centre table was created for a client who wanted her home to feel anything but predictable. She wanted to play—with colour, with form, with furniture legs, and with the idea of what a traditional piece should look like.

So we gave the table four different personalities: a bold red top, sculptural turned legs, an unexpected black leg, and just enough quirk to make you look twice.

Because sometimes, the pieces that stand apart are the ones that bring a room together.

The quiet rebel in an otherwise classic piece.

At first our eyes stop at red—bold, confident and impossible to ignore look, they they travel down to the beautifully turned black legs, each one bringing its own rhythm and character; quite like the classic vintage legs…

And just when you think you’ve taken it all in; there it is…the star of the piece!
“The white piece!”

Because sometimes, good design isn’t about making everything match.
It’s about knowing exactly where to break the rules.

Yes, we are Shoe-aholics, and no, we don’t need help! 😊

When my dear friends came to me and said, they need a shoe rack for their entryway, I knew we were not going to settle for ‘regular.’
I wanted to create something that wasn’t just a functional, but a conversation starter.

And then they said, they have a lot of pairs…So we decided a shoe-rack won’t do, we need a whole cupboard! We paired the soft, warm taupe shade with the organic texture of natural cane. The spindle legs add a touch of delicate, charm to the piece.

The bold, black-and-white striped back to the bench, is a whisper of personality. And wallah! This is what it looks like!

Afterall, good shoes take you to good places!

Some pieces of furniture don’t just fill a space; they just transform it!

When we were shaping the sculptural base of this console, the idea was simple: create something that feels less like a manufactured item and more like an anchor for a home filled with warmth. The sweeping, continuous curve of the solid wood carries a quiet rhythm, capturing the soft glow of evening light and welcoming you the moment you step through the door. 
Styled here with a few treasured books, a brass vessel, and a sacred presence, it’s a daily reminder that the best spaces are built around feeling, memory, and slow living.
