Got some new sandpaper to try out! Thanks Serious Grit! Nice little handwritten note too! I know it’s harder today for companies to “afford” that extra time, but a handwritten note with my name on it really makes me want to keep coming back for business! Now to build some projects to test it out on.

A few months ago, I deleted my Instagram account. Still not really sure why...but I did... Sooooo, I have created a new one. Go on over and give me a follow if you feel so moved. Now that summer is here, I may be able to post a little more frequently 😂

Quick and easy sign re-size today for some friends! They needed it made a little smaller to fit above a walkway. Before and after.

Had some good conversation and some good drinks with a friend while working on this quick little project! Old cutting board pulled from the trash spruced up with some handles and a juice groove. Now it will live a new life!

Man, it feels so good to finally send another job out of the shop!

Even slow progress is still progress, right?!? I hope so!! This is taking forever! We’ve owned this new house for almost 4 months and I’m JUST NOW getting my workshop moved into the garage. Now the tedious and time-consuming process of putting things in their new home. Buuuutttt....that probably won’t happen until summer....

Although I haven’t gotten my shop setup at the new house, I did pick up a “new” addition!! This 8” Rockwell Delta jointer will be a fantastic addition to my soon-to-be-shop!! All the beds are true and flat, the motor runs and the bearings are pretty ok! Not a bad deal for $150 🤣Now to get rid of all that rust and give it a new paint job!

Day one is a wrap! Didn’t get as much done as I wanted but I am always amazed at how big a difference some drywall mud and paint can make. Tomorrow I’ll put in the shelving so the Mrs. can spend some time in the kitchen baking. Currently, the contents of our pantry are spread throughout every counter in the kitchen...

It’s been a while since my last post but we have been crazy busy remodeling the new house and getting moved in and unpacked! It’s the first day of Christmas Break and I have a long to-do list for this 2 weeks of no “real job”.

1st item on the list is patching the drywall in the pantry in prep for new shelving and storage!

Ahhh...my first sense of normalcy in weeks!!! First project in the new garage. Oh yeah! We moved! That’s why I’ve been MIA the last few weeks. We are renovating the whole house and it’s been a lot of work while living with my parents. We are getting so close to being done and getting moved in!

Finished the barn door but forgot to post. I’m in love with Endoro Black Poly!!! Always looks great! Life is getting crazier the closer we get to moving into our new house!! No more custom jobs for a while, just lots of work moving and renovating the new place.

This little pile of wood has big plans ahead! It will spend the rest of its life as a sliding barn door for a pantry.
