This evening - in 2 hours already - we’re hosting an opening event of Craft in Motion in the beautiful Dutch town of Laren.

Frederike, the owner of concept store and luncheon with terrace “Magasine” selected both furniture and lighting pieces from the LES VRAIS portfolio of brands and nicely integrated them inside the shop and on the new additional terrace.

Rattan and hand-painted outdoor alu-rattan furniture, table lamps, wines from Boschendal and even a very special e-bike.

Opening this evening at 4PM : Magasine Laren, NL

This Friday we’re coming to Laren in the Netherlands, for the opening of the “Craft in Motion” exhibition at Magasine in the heart of town.

Frederike from Magasine selected pieces from the LES VRAIS curated portfolio where craftsmanship, detail and materiality are the basis.

This Friday the new Inner Garden is opening with a selection of natural rattan and hand-painted alu-rattan design furniture pieces.
A super light-weight e-bike will be shown as a first in the Netherlands and head-rotating -literally- Italian dimmable table lamps will be featured on a few tables.

Delicious wines as a result of the continued craftsmanship and savoir-faire of the South African Boschendal family will be tasted and served on this Summer Opening and celebration of craft.

With the Japanese Emperor and Empress meeting the Belgian King and Queen and their family all week, it’s time to reflect on the strong relationship between the two royal houses.

With LES VRAIS we bring one of the most beautiful japanese furniture brands to this kingdom as well as a danish-japanese lighting brand with washi paper crafted in Japan.

The royal houses of Belgium and the Netherlands are already our clients, and it would be a great honour to supply Ariake and Danish - Japanese Motarasu to them as well!

Before last week’s design 3days in Copenhagen, Les Vrais spent a day on the nearby Danish island of Fyn, more in specific at Sika design’s HQs in Rynkeby and the beautiful nearby town of Kerteminde.

On the planning for years now it was an absolute must visit to learn more about the 3rd generation family company of natural rattan furniture and their hand-painted alu-rattan exterior versions.

Just being in this tranquil natural environment next to the old fishers harbour and the newly expanded marina, surrounded by sea and farmland, this company, its entrepreneurship and its team of people keeps producing emotions with designs from the 30s to now.

What a pleasure to witness all of this right before the hectic 3daysofdesign. Thanks and see you soon!

It’s 3days of design again where Mexican studio davidpompa presents Can Natural, a natural clay variant and addition to the dark fired can collection. Set in the Brdr. Kruger flagship store in Bredgade 28B, it is an absolute can’t miss if you’re visiting this year’s cph design event.
