Maltese Lace was mainly worked in Gozo by our ancestors who were professional lace makers.
In today's hectic world, the art of lace making is on the decline and we aim to this craft especially among the young generation, as well as encouraging more appreciation of our laces.

A big well done to lacemaker Mary Sultana for this impeccable table centre. 2.4m long, worked with fine linen thread, traditional Maltese designs. Runner has insets with family coat of arms and initials. A heirloom piece!
