NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIANS (GRADE K) – 7 POSTS

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide nursing care to patients according to Malawi Nursing Council ethics
Planning, organizing and implementation of :
Family planning sessions
Ante-Natal and under five Clinic sessions
Monitoring of family health activities both at static outreach clinics
In charge of Maternity ward
Drug administration as ordered by clinical Officer
Ensure patient’s records are updated and properly stored
Report arising matters to the Clinical officer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Nurse Midwife Technician
Diploma in Nursing and Midwife
Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
Must have good communication and reporting skills

As Recruitment Machine, Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Officer – Warehouse Operations to oversee warehouse-related financial management, shipment account reconciliations, and statutory reporting obligations. The role requires strong financial control, accuracy in operational reconciliations, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including MRA reporting.

Some of the responsibilities include; reconciling shipment and cargo accounts at the close of each shipment, maintaining and auditing warehouse financial records, preparing operational financial reports and projections, managing foreign exchange documentation and bank reconciliations, producing statutory financial reports for stakeholders including MRA, supporting audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining daily shipment accounts, and supporting client payment follow-ups.

1. Candidate Requirements
• Nationality: Must be Malawian.
• Education: Must possess a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).

o Assisting in civic educating clients on the proper completion of the NR8A form.
o Referring clients who need ID registration services to designated ID registration centers.

In a bizarre incident that has since become a legendary piece of internet folklore, a lone camper’s choice of equipment caused an unexpected stir in a peaceful lakeside community. The situation unfolded when a hiker set up a bright green, uniquely shaped tent near a popular local walking trail. While the camper likely viewed the tent as a functional shelter, nearby locals were so taken aback by its silhouette that they reportedly contacted the local police department.
The controversy centered on the tent's specific design, which featured two large, rounded side pockets and a tall, central peak. When viewed from a distance—and particularly from a certain angle—the silhouette bore a striking and, to many residents, an offensive resemblance to male anatomy. Social media posts from the area quickly filled with photos of the camp, with many users expressing shock at such a "spectacular" lack of self-awareness by the owner.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a bewildered camper who was entirely unaware of the visual chaos his tent was causing. He explained that he had simply purchased the tent for its spaciousness and ease of assembly. Because the camper had not violated any specific laws regarding public decency or trespassing, the police did not issue a fine or take further action. Instead, he was released with a warning to perhaps consider a different location or a more traditionally shaped shelter in the future to avoid upsetting the local community. The "offensive camp" has since vanished, but images of the unfortunate green silhouette continue to circulate online as a reminder to always check your surroundings—and your tent's profile—before settling in for the night.
