Boscoseal AC2 is a one part water based acrylic polymer fibre reinforced waterproofing membrane. It is specially formulated for commercial and residential internal and external waterproofing applications. Low in odour, it is well suited to internal use. It offers excellent rolling ability and easy application by brush or roller. The fibre, reinforced composition of Boscoseal AC2 combines a matrix binder within the membrane structure to provide extra strength and form high build dry film thickness. Boscoseal AC2 does not require the use of additional reinforcing matting.

Application Area :

• Internal wet areas to be tiled including showers, bathrooms, toilets and laundries.

• External balconies and decks prior to the installation of a covering material such as tiles or non-solvent topping systems.

• Exposed roof areas subject to weather and UV exposure.

• Suitable for waterproofing a broad range of substrates including concrete, cement render, brickwork, particleboard, plywood, plasterboard, gyprock, composition board and fibre cement sheeting.

DESCRIPTION

Boscocem Slurry is a cement-based two-component

acrylic reactive polymer modified waterproofed coating.

Boscocem Slurry is highly effective for positive side

waterproofing.

RECOMMENDED USES

Boscocem Slurry is designed for external and internal

waterproofing protection to;

• Water Tanks

• Bathrooms, Balconies, terraces

• Pool decks

• Water Features

• Planter Boxes, Canopies

As waterproofed underlayment to prevent seepage

before laying marbles.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

All substrates shall be sound, clean and free of dust,

excess mortar, oil or other loose particles. Cracks,

honeycombs and other defects must be repaired using

suitable cement mortar.

For excessively dry substrate, dampen the substrate

and keep it continuosly moist for 1 to 2 hours before

application. Remove all excess water or standing water

and allow the surface to become almost dry to provide

an SSD (Saturated Surface Dry) condition before applying

the waterproofing coating

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION

MIXING

Boscocem Slurry is packed ready to use in 2 components.

Always put the liquid component in a clean mixing

container, and slowly add the powder component

whilst stirring. Mix until homogeneous slurry is obtained

and make sure that no unmixed powder is left at the

bottom of the container. Mix on site using a slow speed

Generally, the 230mm width water stop is for wall of slab of 230mm thickness or more. For wall or slab less that 230mm thick, a narrower waterstop of approximated equal to the wall or slab. Simple waterstop profiles based on dumbells are cast into the edges of adjacent concrete panels, which act as baffles. In the event of joints opening as drying shrinkage or other movement occurs, the edge bulbs of the profile act as anchors. These induce tensions across the waterstop resulting in a sealing effect at the inner faces of the edge bulbs. DIRECTIONS OF USE

A joint with the correct dimensions is able toabsorb movements between building materials.The joint depth should always be in the correctrelationship of the joint width. A general rule is theratio of joint depth to the width of the joint with ajoint width up to 10 mm is 1:1, with a minimum of 5mm in width and depth. For joints wider than 10mm, the depth is the width divided by 3 plus 6 mm.
