*APPLY THE WORD AND PUT THE SITUATION RIGHT*

_But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves_ *(James 1:22)*

Did you know that today, in the New Testament, it’s no longer a question of what God can do but what YOU can do? He made the change in Christ and gave us the dominion, the authority and the power to change anything. So it’s up to you today to make your life as glorious as you want it to be; the key is acting on the Word—applying the Word of God.

Many have remained in distressing conditions because they’re *“waiting”* for God to come into their situation and change things. Even if you shout or sing from sun up to sun down that God will make a way where there is no way, this won’t change your situation. That’s because He already made a way almost two thousand years ago and made you *“the way”* when you were born again.

You’re *“the saved”;* you need to get the real picture. He calls us *“saviours”* (Obadiah 1:21); He saved you and made you a saviour. Many of God’s children need to become more acquainted with this truth. They’re inspired and excited to know what God can do, but they need to be more acquainted with what God says they can do.

The ball is in your court. You’re the one to do something about your situation. How? By learning the Word of God and applying it to the situation you’re facing. When you study the life of the Master, His words, His prayer life, and the instructions He gave, He never suggested for one moment that we should whine, beg and cry to God for anything.

Rather, He put the keys in our hands. He told us to speak to the mountain; in other words, solve the problem; use your mouth; speak faith-filled words. Mark 11:23, *“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”*

*PRAYER*
_Dear Father, thank you for the authority and power you've given me to change any situation through your Word. I’m a doer of your Word, and with my faith-filled words I alter circumstances and cause them to align with your perfect will for my life. I apply your Word effectively in every circumstance, and I walk in victory always, in Jesus' Name. Amen._

*A CALLING TO GLORY AND VIRTUE*

_THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12TH 2023_

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

The verse above says God has called us to glory and virtue. That means we’ve been called to a life of honour, heavenly dignity, and excellence. No matter what situation you find yourself in, your life is one of honour, dignity and excellence. Glory to God!

The Amplified Classic says He “...called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).” There should be no mediocrity in your life because excellence is working in you.

The Apostle Paul says, “We encouraged you, we comforted you, and we kept urging you to live the kind of life that pleases God, who calls you to share in his own Kingdom and glory”(1 Thessalonians 2:12 GNB). What a life He’s given us! How could you live an ordinary life when you have a calling to glory and virtue?

It doesn’t matter how dark and gloomy things get in this world; be unruffled because your journey in life is one direction only: upward and forward. You’re not of this world! Your path is different. It’s a path of glory and excellence, prosperity and success, peace and joy. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My life is for the glory of God and I experience His goodness and mercies today; my life is one of honour, excellence, praise, glory and thanksgiving to the Lord at all times. Hallelujah!

_*Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).*_

The verse above is part of the prayer format that the Master taught His disciples. He said, _*“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth…”*_, because when the Kingdom comes, God’s will is done. When Jesus came, He was the manifestation of the will of the Father; He was the will of God in human flesh. Hallelujah!

Jesus was the embodiment of God’s will; He was at the right place at the right time for the right purpose, in the right way. Even when they wanted to arrest Him on a certain occasion, and He sneaked out from there (John 10:39), He was still in the will of God.

God's will is manifested in His Kingdom, and the Kingdom executes His will. This means that the will of God is expected to be wrought in your life one hundred per cent, as it was with Jesus.

Living in the will of the Father is very simple. All you have to do is to live according to the Word and walk by the Spirit. The Bible says, _*“...Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh”*_ (Galatians 5:16). How could there be confusion in your life when you’re living in the will of the Father? Never!

The Bible says, _*“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know…”*_ (Ephesians 1:18). If the eyes of your understanding are enlightened—if your heart is flooded with light, with an abundance of the Word of God in your spirit—you become acquainted with the will of God, and the result is a life of unending victory!

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for granting me spiritual understanding, which transcends the use of the mind and the senses. As I live in accordance with your Word and by your Spirit, your will is wrought in my life every day, causing me to walk in prosperity, health and victory over the world and its systems, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
