DONβT CHANGE THE CHARGING PORT YET!
Before replacing a charging port, a technician should first check:
πΉ VBUS β Is charging voltage reaching the board?
πΉ VCHG β Is the charging path receiving the expected voltage?
πΉ GND β Is the ground connection good?
πΉ NTC β Is the battery temperature-sensing line okay?
A charging problem can come from the port, charging path, protection components, or battery circuit.
π Good technicians diagnose first. They don't just replace parts.

π¨ Most people think a phone motherboard is just one big circuit... but that's completely wrong!
A smartphone PCB is divided into different sections, and every section has a specific job.

Power Section

Charging Section
β
Display Section
β
Audio Section
β
Camera Section
β
Network Section
This is why professional technicians don't troubleshoot the entire board at once. We identify the faulty section first, then diagnose the circuit inside that section.
