A familiar form, reimagined as a chair.

The Iti Igi armchair takes inspiration from the natural cylindrical form of African wooden logs, reflected in the curved bolster cushions that define its silhouette.

The high-texture upholstery adds depth, while the deep seat and minimalist black legs keep the design clean and contemporary.

For this bedside stool, the manufacturing process began by constructing the carcass from premium Marine Plywood chosen specifically for its structural stability and resistance to warping in a humid climate.

We formed the curved edges, filled and sanded the raw joints to create a completely flush, seamless foundation. From there, the piece was moved into a controlled environment for the application of a premium matte spray.

This matte finish is deliberate; it absorbs light rather than reflecting it, delivering a sophisticated, tactile feel while naturally masking minor surface wear.

Finally, the completely handle-less design relies on integrated pulls and concealed runners to eliminate protruding hardware.

This prioritises everyday comfort and safety in the dark, ensuring the piece remains as highly practical as it is structurally sound.

A bedroom that feels personal to the person it was designed for.

For Project Canalily, our client wanted a calm and warm bedroom, but there was one detail she definitely wanted to see in the space; her favourite colour, pink.

We brought it in through the accent chair, adding a soft pop of colour without taking away from the neutral palette of the room.

The custom bedframe gives the room its main structure, while the vanity area adds a practical corner for getting ready and keeping things organised.

From the textures and soft tones to the furniture and little personal touches, the room was designed to feel like hers.

The kitchen and dining area at Project Canalily.

We wanted the spaces to feel connected, but not like one large open space, so we introduced a partition between the kitchen and dining area to create some separation while keeping the flow open.

The glass display cabinetry adds useful storage while giving the kitchen a place to keep everyday pieces on display.

Warm tones, clean finishes and simple styling bring both areas together, creating a space that feels inviting and practical for everyday living.

A living room designed to feel considered, without feeling overworked.

For Project Canalily, we brought together a sculptural accent wall, statement lighting, custom furniture and carefully selected decor to give the space character while keeping it comfortable for everyday living.

The neutral palette creates a calm foundation, while the mix of textures, curves and natural tones keeps the room from feeling flat. Even the smaller styling details were chosen to add warmth without competing with the main pieces.

The result is a space where everything has a place, but nothing feels forced.

Designed with local intelligence, this bedside stool was crafted with Nigeria’s humid climate in mind, using premium marine plywood for structural stability and resistance to warping.

Rooted in African craft, the curved form was carefully shaped, filled and sanded to create a seamless foundation, before being finished in a refined matte spray that gives the piece its soft, tactile feel.

The handle-less design, with integrated pulls and concealed runners, keeps the piece clean while making it practical and comfortable for everyday use.
